Content & Acceptable Use Policy

1. Introduction

Craftology provides AI-powered tools for creating cinematic content. This Content & Acceptable Use Policy defines what you may and may not create, upload, or distribute using our platform. By using Craftology, you agree to follow this policy. Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent termination.

2. Permitted Uses

Craftology is designed for creative, expressive, and professional content production. Permitted uses include:

  • Original short films, animations, and cinematic content
  • Brand storytelling, marketing, and promotional material
  • Educational, documentary, and journalistic content
  • Artistic exploration and experimental projects
  • Personal and professional creative projects

3. Prohibited Content

You may not use Craftology to create, upload, generate, or distribute content that:

  • Is sexually explicit or pornographic in nature
  • Depicts or promotes violence, self-harm, or harm to others
  • Constitutes hate speech or promotes discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin
  • Harasses, bullies, or intimidates any individual or group
  • Spreads misinformation, disinformation, or deliberately deceptive narratives
  • Is intended to influence elections or undermine democratic processes
  • Promotes, glorifies, or facilitates illegal activity

4. Minors

Any content that sexualizes, exploits, or harms minors is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account termination and reporting to the appropriate law enforcement authorities. This includes AI-generated depictions of minors in any sexual context.

5. Deepfakes & Likeness Rights

You may not generate AI-created likenesses, voices, or representations of real individuals — including public figures — without their explicit consent. This includes:

  • Realistic deepfakes designed to deceive viewers
  • Content that puts false words or actions in a real person's mouth
  • Defamatory or reputation-damaging portrayals of identifiable individuals

Clearly labeled parody or satire may be permissible, but must not be mistaken for factual depictions.

6. Intellectual Property

You are responsible for ensuring that any content you create or upload does not infringe on the intellectual property rights of others. You may not:

  • Upload or reproduce copyrighted material without authorization
  • Use Craftology to reproduce or closely imitate the style of another creator's proprietary work in ways that cause confusion or harm
  • Generate content that infringes on trademarks or trade dress

7. Platform Integrity

To protect the platform and all its users, you may not:

  • Attempt to circumvent, disable, or manipulate Craftology's safety systems or content filters
  • Reverse engineer, extract, or replicate Craftology's AI models, weights, or proprietary prompts
  • Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the platform
  • Create or distribute malware, spyware, or any harmful code through the platform
  • Interfere with other users' access to or enjoyment of the service

8. AI Transparency

When distributing content created with Craftology in contexts where audiences may be misled, you are encouraged to disclose that the content was AI-generated. You may not use AI-generated content to fraudulently misrepresent yourself, your organization, or your credentials.

9. Enforcement

Craftology reserves the right to review, remove, or restrict any content that violates this policy. Depending on the severity of the violation, enforcement actions may include:

  • Content removal
  • Temporary suspension of account features
  • Permanent account termination
  • Reporting to law enforcement where required by law

Repeat violations will result in permanent banishment from the platform.

10. Reporting Violations

If you encounter content on Craftology that you believe violates this policy, please report it to us at trust@craftology.io. We review all reports and take appropriate action.

11. Updates to This Policy

We may update this policy as our platform evolves. We will notify users of significant changes. Continued use of Craftology after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
